So it's almost time for my site to relaunch, with that in mind I decided to go back and re-texture old models and work on some new and fresh ones as well. Here are some examples of what my site will have in store. The main difference in my site changes is that every asset will be rendering in real-time. I've been playing with new engines and getting a feel for the differences in rendering qualities. So far I've used UDK, Unity 3, and the ever impressive and simple to use Marmoset Toolbag.

Portfolio Updates
Major changes are set to occur by the New Year. My site is currently being revamped 100% as well as several new additions being added to my portfolio. Should be an exciting New Year and a fresh start to the application process. Striving to make big leaps towards landing a job in the video game industry. Only a matter of time!

Alarm Panel
This was my first task for a company known as Flaming Brain Studios. The poly limit was under 50 polies and the texture was limited to two 512x512 texture maps.

Weapon Locker
The above asset was created for a Mod Team known as The Black Dead. I agreed to create a few assets for them and I'm quite pleased with the final result. There is a weird issue going on with the alpha right now. I just noticed that the back shot doesn't show the doors. I'll look further into that, but for now heres the final product rendered in Marmoset.

Marmoset Toolbag 1.01
So a few months ago I downloaded a 20 day trial of this handy little piece of software known as Marmoset Toolbag. Wow what can I say bad about it...hmm nothing really. It delivers real time renders and a fantastic set of lighting tools with ease. Don't get me wrong I'm a firm fan of UDK and other game engines, however on days when your just looking for some sweet renders easily. This is it!
Once your 20 day trial is up it costs $50USD and is worth every penny. I just purchased my copy this morning and I can wait to add it back into my working pipeline.

I should join the Circus!...
Right now I'm juggling a lot of projects, however things are getting done. Right now I'm trying to finish the layout for my newly revamped portfolio site. The site I have now is several months old and I feel it needs a new level of flavor. So that is the current thing I'm trying to get finished.
